Two Exercises to Get Rid of Man Boobs Naturally

The term man boobs is used to describe enlarged breasts in men. Gynecomastia is the official medical name for man boobs, but in this article, I will use the term man boobs. Man boobs is a problem that affects over 40% of men in society today. Man boobs can cause embarrassment and can have other psychological effects such as depression.

Although there are many treatments available for enlarged breasts in males, this article will focus on exercises to get rid of man boobs permanently. In order to get rid of man boobs, chest fat must be burned.

So how do you use exercises to burn the fat off your chest?

The answer: The focus of your workout should be on "upper chest" exercises. What most people don't know is that developing your upper chest will make your man boobs appear less noticeable while at the same time actually decreasing them in size.

Two easy to perform exercises that will provide you with maximum benefit are:

1. The incline bench press The incline bench press is most easily performed using a standard incline bench. First, load the weights onto a standard barbell. To perform the incline bench press, lay down with your back on the bench. Lower the barbell with the weights down to your upper chest, and then raise the bar vertically. For maximum efficiency, exhale while raising the bar and inhale on the way down. Please try not to bounce the barbell off your chest as serious injury could occur. Since your primary purpose is to lose chest fat, use relatively light weights. Perform 3 sets of 10 to 12 repetitions of incline bench presses twice per week and kiss your man boobs goodbye.

2. The decline pushup The decline pushup is another excellent exercise to get rid of man boobs. In order to perform this exercise correctly, lie with your chest facing down and your palms facing the floor. Your chest should be lowered towards the floor. Your arms should be a little more than shoulder width apart, and here comes the important part. You need to have your feet raised. I have found from experience that a chair or a foot stool will do the job. If you have your legs raised while doing pushups, the focus of the exercise will be the upper chest area. At this point in performing the exercise, your chest should be facing down and your head/chest should be lower to the ground than your feet. To perform the pushups, push your chest away from the floor by straightening your arms. You should try not to bend or arch your back during this process. Exhale while pushing up and inhale on the way down. Make sure to perform 3 sets of 6 to 12 repetitions when you do this exercise. If you do decline pushups or incline bench presses a couple times a week, you can kiss your man boobs goodbye.

Extra Bonus: Stay away from chest exercises that focus on the lower chest such as normal bench presses or pushups. These exercises will make your man boobs appear larger.
